Trinity welcomes Farmplan’s Scott Millar

Trinity is delighted to welcome Scott Millar as Customer Success Manager.

Scott has spent a decade working in business development for Farmplan, most recently as part of Gatekeeper's integrations team. This included managing the integration with Trinity Agtech's Sandy.

He has a degree in Agriculture & Land Management from Hartpury University.

Scott also manages a small holding with 30 Pedigree Hebridean & Hill Radnor sheep. He is keen to implement locally sponsored environment initiatives, including planting 1000’s of metres of new hedgerows and wildflower meadow creation.

Commenting on why he joined Trinity, Scott said:

"I believe carbon and biodiversity scoring and credits will play an important role in post-BPS farm incomes and Trinity has the most robust system in the market to help farmers achieve their maximum potential.

"They are also the only sustainability platform to integrate with the market-leading crop management tools, like Gatekeeper and Muddy Boots. This demonstrates their commitment to farmers, who do not have the time to be manually, double-entering data."

Anna Woodly, Director of Business Development, says:

"Good quality data concerning farm, environmental, and financial management has become increasingly important - and it will grow in importance as farm businesses are forced to navigate the uncertainty caused by ELMS, supply chains, and volitile input & commodity markets.

“But we know how frustrating it is having to manually enter the same data in multiple systems. That's why Trinity prioritised integrations with Gatekeeper and Muddy Boots. Scott's more than 10 years of experience with Gatekeeper will be incredibly valuable to arable farms looking to quickly & easily build a natural capital register, baseline biodiversity, and trade carbon.”

Scott’s focus will be supporting farm businesses who wish to trade carbon & natural capital. You can contact Scott on sm@trinityagtech.com.
